In March of 2017, the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) member schools voted to allow interscholastic sports teams to legally hold practice at any time during the year, against the recommendations of the AIA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. This document is provided to AzATA Members to guide them in identifying key considerations that should be explored with their athletic directors, school administrators, and district legal and risk management teams as related to year round practices.
